Aldersyde Booster Station
Description
The Municipal District of Foothills No. 31 is constructing a community center and sports facility near Alcersyde Alberta. A community that surrounds the centre has been planned for the future.
Potable water is to be supplied from the regional water treatment plant. The Aldersyde development is located a distancee away from the water plant and at a higher elevation. In order to service this area a booster station is required.
The booster station consists of a number of pumps that have the ability to supply water for domestic and fire usage. The booster station is automatically controlled to turn pumps on and off and to regulate the pump speeds to maintain a steady pressure.
